Ceramic Ball Bearings
New Ceramic Ball Bearings with extra large bore sizes are designed and suited for wind power generator applications.
MRC Hybrid Ball Bearings combine 52100 steel rings with silicon nitride balls offering inherent insulating properties to protect against electrical arcing and potential bearing damage.
When purchased, the units will fit new or installed turbines, which are prone to electrical arcing. This feature allows minimal maintenance as no other part has to be replaced.
The bearings are available in bore sizes from 100-160 mm, and can be engineered with seals and shields to suit your application, or otherwise customised for bespoke fittings.
